Expogame Chile and Burger King asked us to create a piece that combined 2D and 3D animation as the official commercial for the event. This is one of the most important gaming events in Chile. Over its ten years of history, it has evolved into an immersive experience that mirrors the dynamics of video games. Now, in a new phase, it’s expanding its reach across the entire country.

At Draff.tv, we led every phase of the project. From the script to creative direction, through design, illustration, and 2D and 3D animation – all without the involvement of external creative agencies.

To make the story more relatable and engaging, we built the narrative around four characters. These players compete in different games and challenges, collecting coins that bring them closer to the Expogame Chile trophy. The structure echoes the logic and progression of classic video games.

Drawing inspiration from a range of gaming genres, we designed characters with a strong focus on player diversity – so that everyone could see themselves reflected in the story. The campaign’s impact went beyond the screen: visual elements from the video were adapted into large-scale graphics within the venues, reinforcing Expogame’s visual identity and offering attendees a fully immersive experience.

Thanks to a vibrant and dynamic approach, we succeeded in capturing the spirit of the event and connecting with the gaming community in every city visited by the tour. The campaign delivered excellent results, both in brand awareness and audience engagement.
