-Expogame Chile is one of the most significant video gaming events in Chile. Burger King commissioned us to create the official advert to promote its tour across various cities in the country. This project required comprehensive management, from scriptwriting and creative direction to design, illustration, and 2D and 3D animation, all without the involvement of external agencies.
The narrative follows four characters competing in different video games and challenges, therefore, collecting coins to get closer to the Expogame Chile trophy. This dynamic mirrors that found in video games, creating an immediate connection with the public.
Drawing inspiration from various video game genres, we designed the characters to represent a diverse range of gamers. Each character was carefully crafted to allow viewers to easily identify with the story.
The campaign’s impact extended beyond the screen. Graphic elements from the video were used as large-scale prints at the events, reinforcing Expogame’s visual identity and providing visitors with an engaging and memorable experience.
With a dynamic and vibrant approach, we captured the essence of the event. The campaign successfully connected the gaming community in each city visited by the tour, achieving excellent results in both brand awareness and audience participation.
In brief: the success of the campaign demonstrated the importance of engaging storytelling and captivating design in promoting large-scale events. The collaboration with Burger King helped create a strong bond between the brand and the gaming community, solidifying Expogame Chile’s presence in the video gaming event landscape.
