This awareness campaign, consisting of 6 audiovisual pieces, was created in collaboration with Land Agency for their client, the Municipality of Santo Domingo, Chile. Its goal is to communicate essential topics such as event safety, fire prevention, and earthquake protocols, among others. We used Emerson, the municipality’s institutional character, as the narrator, while Land Agency handled the script and campaign strategy. Draff focused on the creativity, illustration, and animation of the project.

We decided that the best way to bring Emerson to life was to represent him in 3D, but applying a 2D look & feel to simulate traditional animation. This gave us more freedom, allowing the character to fly and rotate without limitations, while maintaining a consistent aesthetic. All these decisions allowed us to develop an attractive, aesthetically consistent, and narratively dynamic product without needing to extend time or budget for its development.
